Concept and Design
Amarela resort offers a unique experience to guests – highlighting and preserving Bohol’s exceptional natural beauty, unique local art and culture and its people’s native warmth and hospitality.
Repurposed old wood from old houses in the region is used as the foundation for Amarela’s design. Antiques, local art and woodwork are everywhere, introducing Bohol’s unique culture and a giving you a sense of place. Vibrant colors and natural light are used to enhance the vivid surroundings, carefully cultivated through lush landscaping with indigenous flora. The resort was ealier named Kabilin Resort, with the word “kabilin” meaning inheritance before eventually changed to Amarela.
Antiques, Local Art and Woodwork can be seen around the resort.

It has a Conference Room than can accommodate up to 20 persons; while Molave Room and Outdoor Pavilion can accommodate 50 persons. The Beachfront Area can accommodate 300 persons in a banquet set-up.
